We are always looking for volunteers to help us maintain Boggs Mountain trails for the public’s enjoyment and safety. Trail maintenance is a great opportunity to give back to this wonderful forest sanctuary, and to have fun while working side-by-side with others who care about Boggs Mountain State Forest!
Minors who are involved in trail maintenance need to have their guardians or parents read and sign the FOBM Liability Exclusion Form.
Allow 2-3 hours; bring water, work gloves and a hand tool such as loppers or clippers. We’ll also have tools available. We meet in the Boggs parking lot, and carpool to the work sites, if necessary. Please contact us for more info. Look forward to seeing you there!
We have designated the second Saturday of each month as trail maintenance day to begin promptly at 9am (meeting at the main entrance parking lot near the kiosk).
Unless otherwise posted, trail maintenance days in 2013 are:
Jan. 12, Feb. 9, March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8, July 13, Aug. 10, Sept. 14, Oct. 12, Nov. 9, and Dec. 14.
